While preaching at the jail yesterday on Romans 10:13, I talked about the night I called upon the Lord. It was not a speech or a sonnet or a sermon. I just cried out to God from the depths of my being. While preaching, God brought that moment back to my heart so fresh and real. Of all the songs I’ve ever heard, this one best describes it! Psalm 34:6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
