Free Outline Series
In Nehemiah’s day, the people were ignorant of the scripture. So learned men were appointed to teach the communicate what God had revealed in His Word: Nehemiah 8:8 So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading. That is the goal of preaching and teaching the Bible. It is to communicate the sense of the text, to explain it’s meaning and context. I believe in order to do that there needs to be a structure to the teaching. If you are taking a trip, it’s always best to have a road map. So it has been my practice to use an outline as a structure to communicate God’s message. Below are some of the outlines that I have complied. Some are outlines going through books of the Bible verse-by-verse. Some are subject driven, each outline from various tests in the scripture tied together in a theme. I am making them available to you for subscribing to my news letter. I hope they are a help and an enrichment in your study of the Bible.
