Looking back over 2018, I have found this past year to be one of the most challenging years of ministry. I have shot myself in the foot more times than I would like to admit. I have seen more of the worst of who I am on the inside than I ever thought was there. I have struggled differentiating between personal motivations and the will of God more this year than any of my 17 years of serving the Lord as a preacher.
\nBut through the reality of my mess, God has been so gracious to me, opening doors of opportunity that I never dreamed; entrusting me with spiritual leadership at levels I never thought possible; and (most importantly) allowing me to see more people believe on Jesus than I have seen in 13 years!
