\nAll to leave and follow thee;
\nDestitute, despis’d, forsaken,
\nThou from hence my all shalt be.
\nPerish, ev’ry fond ambition,
\nAll I’ve sought, and hop’d, and known;
\nYet how rich is my condition;
\nGod and Heav’n are still my own!<\/p>\n

Let the world despise and leave me;
\nThey have left my Savior, too;
\nHuman hearts and looks deceive me;
\nThou art not, like them, untrue;
\nAnd while thou shalt smile upon me,
\nGod of wisdom, love, and might,
