Jesus, my Lord, attend
\n<\/span>Thy fallen creature’s cry,
\n<\/span>And show Thyself the sinner’s Friend,
\n<\/span>And set me up on high:
\n<\/span>From hell’s oppressive power,
\n<\/span>From earth and sin release,
\n<\/span>And to Thy Father’s grace restore,
\n<\/span>And to Thy perfect peace.<\/span><\/p>\n

For this, alas! I mourn
\n<\/span>In helpless unbelief,
\n<\/span>But Thou my wretched heart canst turn,
\n<\/span>And heal my sin and grief;
\n<\/span>Salvation in Thy name
\n<\/span>To dying souls is given,
\n<\/span>And all may, through Thy merit, claim

Thy blood and righteousness

O then impute, impart
