The saints should never be dismay’d,
\n<\/span>Nor sink in hopeless fear;
\n<\/span>For when they least expect His aid,
\n<\/span>The Saviour will appear.<\/span><\/p>\n

This Abraham found; he raised the knife,
\n<\/span>God saw, and said, ‘Forbear!
\n<\/span>Yon ram shall yield his meaner life;
\n<\/span>Behold the victim there!<\/span><\/p>\n

Once David seem’d Saul’s certain prey;
